summer of 98.

(i had the 2007 sidekick lx. now i own the t-mobile g1. now my heart wants the 2009 sidekick lx.)
since i've got the time to post a new blog for the summer here's whats been happening:
the summer of 98? pretty much brought it back for 2009.

june:
undefeated in beer pong/mad parties/the rise and rise of shane braxton, yunis ali, and vince jeter.

july:
brought back 9/2/07. bring back memories.
the bad luck:
2006 nissan altima:
-parking ticket in philadelphia.
-speeding ticket in media.
-e-z pass ticket on the atlantic city expressway.

all in the same week in july.

i wish livejournal was still famous today. i'd still use my livejournal account. it's pretty boss, and all the blog entries posted were mad positive, some funny and some from the inside. blogspot's not bad, and tumblr is way too much for me. i want to transfer my blog entries to wordpress and then make a bawwlin ass website.

i officially do not own a sidekick anymore. i have upgraded to a g1. to be honest and tell you the truth, i actually miss my sidekick so much. i'm about to trade in my g1 for the new sidekick lx 2009 version. it's sleeker, thinner and faster. this g1 is way to slow for me but not to hate on google or anything but the 3g = slowest internet ever. even though it does act pretty awesome like a regular computer.

i just signed up for classes at dccc and that was a breeze. i just found out that the kid in my english class got accepted to temple. i had a higher gpa, and possibly a higher sat score but did not apply to temple. i may have had a chance by the waiting list as well. oh well, i have goals set that are waiting to be met by the end of 2011.

i didn't take any photos for my amazing adventures this month. i'm disapointed. how disapointed? not so much, because everything is saved inside.

despite all the bad luck i've been having in july and the best luck in june. this girl made my summer.

midnight regulations

i am counting down the minutes in order for me to get my new car. i've been waiting (patiently. sort of) to get my car. it's down to a 2006 nissan altima 2.5 s special edition black sedan or a 2006 honda civic ex coupe black. i am going with the honda first. if that does not go through well i'm going for the nissan. they are both amazing and expensive cars, but i believe i have the manpower to afford them. just need to keep my job/find a better paying one.

i almost got into a car accident on the industrial highway. hope not to let that happen again. i also need to get my glasses fixed if i want to begin my racing career/drive furiously at night (kidding. or am i?)

old crows/young cardinals

one of the best records to come out this year is definetly alexisonfire's newest and illest record "old crows/young cardinals." already they shot a video and released their newest single to date, "young cardinals," and it has one of the sickkest drumlines i've heard in songs in awhile. aof's last record "crises" was a record i could not put down at all. when oc/yc leaked their shit, i can't seem to not go online and listen to it.

i need this album. planned on getting it may 5th when it came out at best buy until i found out that it was sold out. went to hot topic to find that all it contained was plastic wrap and a calling: please take me.

about to head out with hoxxxy, vickers, and lexy. i don't expect to be home anytime soon and i have graduation practice at 9:30 in the morning and then the real deal in the evening. i took a nap before going to work and was late because of it. pre-gaming before heading in = looking sloppy as shit. all in all it was worth it.

i found what i left at hutchinson park yesterday.

one more day, just one more

tommrow's the big day but what sucks is that they are predicting mad thunderstorms and rain. if that happens to be, then i'm doomed for work. would have to go through all the trouble of calling out wednesday saying i'm sick and then forge a doc's note. nah i'm good though, everything's gonna come through and home free.

just called journey's to see whats up and i actually have to come in at work from 5 to close. damn. it's actually not bad, but it goes by way to slow. oh, i gotta stop telling people i can get them discounts on shoes or having them persuade me to give them discounts cause i can't!

late 2007, early 2008 i was into an amazing band called 'sleepaway'. they broke up and one of the members in that band had co-found an awesome clothing company (better than glamour kills) called dazzle me formal. their shits so nice and i have been following them for awhile until like late 2008, early 2009 i gave up on them because i didn't see any potential designs or anythign happening. today, i came across them and they updated so much stuff from an till now with new shirts and new era caps.

the voorhees cap (above) is one of the most siqqest new era hats i have ever seen before and i want it. suppositely now at this moment, at this time. it was designed by stephen pieroni and it is sold out. also pictured below the vorhees cap is the ellcott cap. i also want that as well because of them colors and the design behind it is flawless. it's like a picture of a lamb/sheep and makes the cap look extra bangin.

keri hilson is so hot right now haha. these two songs are being overplayed over the radio lately and they have been mad catchy for me. t's not wayne, kanye or ne-yo that's been catching my attention with these awesome features in these vids and such (besides the 'knock you down' vid where kanye and ne-yo look like they are about to brawl whcih seems epic) it's the beats they have in their songs.

tonight i went to robby's grad party and that was pretty bangin, mad people came, and the food was great. frisbee and wiffle ball owned and to end out the night ethan played a few songs which owned (act appalled by circa survive, an original that me and rob love and a song by as cities burn off their second album). then i played 'bring this back to life' with a cameo appearance of sean brady and co. singing the song which rooled and played 'best of me' by the stating line.

fazil's birthday was today as well. went to penang to celebrate. one of the workers from ubiq said hey to me and he was walking towards abudkus take out (city clothing as well as ubiq).

i can't wait for the rest of the week. i have decided on a 2002 nissan altima for $5500. the color is tan with black interior and tinted windows but my heart is most settled on a black one instead. if i can't find one that color, it's all good, i just need a car badly for the next 2 years plus senior week and whats more to come for the rest of the summer.
